Off-site upholstery care for the sofa, chair, or heirloom piece where a spot treatment isn’t enough — wrapped and picked up from your home, fully treated at our facility, and delivered back looking right.
An in-home clean can only go so far on a piece like this
Most upholstery jobs are handled right in the home — and for everyday spills and general wear, that’s the right call. Every so often a piece comes up that’s a different kind of problem: a genuinely expensive sofa or chair with a pet stain that’s gone deeper than a surface treatment can reach — odor trapped in the padding, or a mark that needs a slower, more deliberate process than an in-home visit allows.
Those pieces need the fabric identified correctly, the right method chosen — water-based for what can take it, solvent-based for what can’t — and enough controlled time and space to do it properly. That’s not a two-hour in-home appointment. It’s a facility job.
Four steps, none of which happen in your living room
The whole point is that the piece leaves, gets the time and treatment it actually needs, and comes back done — no equipment or drying time taking over your space for days.
The piece is inspected, the fabric identified, and it’s fully wrapped on-site before it ever leaves your floor.
Our crew carries it out and transports it to our facility — no client drop-off, no lifting on your end.
Stain and odor treatment using the method the fabric actually calls for, with controlled time an in-home visit can’t give it.
Clean, fully dry, and set back in place — the same crew that picked it up brings it home.
Not a replacement for our standard service — a tier above it
This sits alongside the regular in-home upholstery cleaning, not in place of it. Most pieces still get the standard visit. This is for the ones worth the extra step.
Standard in-home cleaning
The right call for most upholstery, most of the time.
- General spills, everyday wear, routine maintenance
- Done in one visit, on-site
- Fast, low-disruption, budget-friendly
Off-site upholstery care
For the pieces worth protecting properly.
- Deep-set pet stains & odor, delicate or high-value fabrics
- Wrapped, picked up, treated off-site, delivered back
- Priced and scheduled per piece, by quote
Three quick signs a piece belongs in this tier
A designer sofa, an heirloom chair, leather that isn’t easily matched — the kind of piece where “close enough” isn’t good enough.
Not everyday soiling — something that’s had time to set in, especially pet-related, where surface treatment hasn’t fully resolved it.
Silk, fine leather, or anything that can’t safely take a standard water-based method needs the solvent-based route instead.
Frequently asked questions
How do you decide water-based vs. solvent-based?
By the fabric, not the stain. Fabrics that can safely take moisture get a water-based treatment; delicate or moisture-sensitive fabrics — fine leather, silk, some vintage pieces — get a solvent-based approach instead. That call gets made during inspection, before anything leaves the home.
How is this different from just booking the regular cleaning?
Time and control. The regular visit is a single on-site pass. This gives the piece the controlled facility time a stubborn stain or trapped odor actually needs — which an in-home appointment isn’t built to provide.
What does it cost, and how long does it take?
Priced individually once we’ve seen the piece and confirmed the fabric and treatment it needs — this isn’t a flat-rate service. Same for timing: we’ll give a firm window at pickup rather than a generic estimate up front.
Do you offer this for anything besides sofas and chairs?
The same off-site model applies to any upholstered piece worth the extra care — ottomans, headboards, dining chairs — the fabric and value are what qualify it, not the furniture type.
