A plain-English guide to area rug cleaning prices in the DFW Metroplex — what drives the cost, typical ranges by rug type, and exactly how we quote. No surprises.
Rug cleaning is priced by the square foot, and the rate depends mostly on the rug’s fiber and construction. Below are the typical ranges we see across Dallas–Fort Worth — useful for budgeting, but not a firm quote. Your real number comes from a free assessment, and you approve it before any work begins.
How our pricing works. You get an upfront price before we start. If our closer facility inspection turns up something the on-site visit couldn’t see, we call you first and never add work without your approval — so there are no surprise charges.

Four things that set the price
Add-on pricing
Priced separately so you only pay for what your rug actually needs.
≈ $40–$160 on an 8×10. Light topical deodorizing is the low end; a full submersion flush-and-treat for soaked rugs is the high end.
Set-in wine, ink, or bleach/color loss — priced per spot at inspection, not by rug size.
≈ $80 on an 8×10. Pairs naturally with storage.
Scotchgard-type guard — about $0.75–$1 is the typical DFW middle.
Antimicrobial / disinfectant runs higher; a basic deodorize is the low end.
Detail-cleaning and grooming the fringe (not structural repair).
Non-slip is lowest; waterproof / pet-proof is highest.
Front-of-line priority — whichever is greater. Subject to availability.
A quick worked example
Say you have a wool 9×12 rug:
A synthetic rug of the same size lands lower; a silk one lands higher. Add any optional treatments on top. The only number that counts is your free quote.
No surprise charges. Upfront pricing — we call you for approval before any added work.
Rug cleaning cost FAQ
How much does it cost to clean a 9×12 rug?
A 9×12 rug is about 108 square feet. As a rough guide, a wool 9×12 at roughly $3–$5 per square foot lands around $325–$540, while a synthetic one sits lower and a silk or specialty one higher. Your exact price comes from a free, no-obligation quote — these ranges are just to help you budget.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes — we have a $150 minimum order. The full wash, dry, and grooming process is the same regardless of size, so small jobs are quoted to that minimum (and free pickup and delivery is included once you meet it).
Does pickup and delivery cost extra?
No — free pickup and delivery is included on any order that meets our $150 minimum, anywhere in the DFW Metroplex. It is not a hidden add-on.
Why is facility cleaning priced differently than in-home cleaning?
In-home surface cleaning only treats the top of the pile. Our facility price covers a full-immersion wash that flushes soil from the foundation, controlled drying, and hand-grooming — a deeper clean that protects the rug and lasts longer.
Will my final price ever change?
You get an upfront price before we start. If our closer facility inspection turns up something the on-site visit couldn’t see, we call you first and never add work without your approval — so there are no surprise charges.
