Free pickup & delivery for Lancaster homes and businesses — deep-cleaned at our dedicated DFW facility.

Lancaster was platted in 1852 and still calls itself the City of Trees. Homes around its older core are often decades old and hold long-owned rugs that have never had a professional wash, while newer subdivisions on the edges bring newer pieces. Dallas Rug Cleaning gives Lancaster a true facility wash: free pickup, a full-immersion deep clean, and careful delivery back to your door.

North Texas dust and everyday grit work their way to the base of a rug where a vacuum can’t reach; our full-immersion rinse flushes it out completely.

Serving every Lancaster neighborhood — and the surrounding Dallas County area.

The City of Trees

Lancaster is one of the oldest towns in Dallas County. Its townsite was surveyed in 1852 and named for Lancaster, Kentucky, and the railroad from Dallas reached it in 1888. A 1994 tornado badly damaged the historic Town Square. Today Lancaster is a city of about 41,000, with older homes around the square and newer subdivisions on its edges.

Rugs we see most in Lancaster

Near the older core we pick up long-owned wool and Oriental rugs that have spent 15 years or more in the same room, often never washed. In the newer subdivisions it is more often a first large area rug bought with the house, or a synthetic rug in a busy family room. Like the rest of southern Dallas County, Lancaster sits on expansive clay, and the fine dust it makes in dry months works down to the base of the pile and wears the fibers. The mature shade trees that give the city its nickname also mean leaf litter and pollen at the door.

Frequently Asked Questions

Real answers about Rug Cleaning in Lancaster, TX — from Dallas Rug Cleaning, free pickup & delivery across DFW.

Do you clean old rugs from homes near Lancaster's historic square?

Yes. Long-owned wool and Oriental rugs are inspected for dye stability and foundation condition first, then washed with a gentle, fiber-specific method. Older homes near the square are where we see many of these rugs.

How can I tell if my rug is overdue for a cleaning?

Lift a corner and tap the back over a white sheet or a hard floor. If a cloud of fine dust falls out, soil has built up in the foundation and the rug is overdue. In Lancaster that dust is usually fine clay from yards and driveways.

Do you also serve DeSoto, Cedar Hill and Duncanville?

Yes. Our free pickup and delivery covers Lancaster and its neighbors, including DeSoto, Cedar Hill and Duncanville, along with the rest of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Can you remove pet odor from a rug in a Lancaster home?

Often, yes. We check how far the urine has spread below the surface, then fully submerge and flush the rug and treat the fibers and foundation. A facility wash reaches the base of the pile, which surface cleaning cannot.
